Jacob’s life unravels when his wife Maja is hospitalized with severe depression, leaving him alone with their six-year-old son Johannes. Struggling with work and the weight of her illness, Jacob begins sensing something uncanny in their home especially at night. Johannes withdraws into a world of stone portals with an eerie imaginary friend. When Maja’s condition deepens into paranoia and Johannes starts hoarding rotten food for his friend, Jacob is forced to confront whether the true threat lies in illness, imagination, or something darker. To save his family, he must risk both his beliefs and his sanity.

Award-winning director Martin has worked across short films, music videos, and commercials for more than a decade. His fiction films have been selected at international festivals and received several awards, recognized for their strong visual style and emotional depth. Martin’s work often delves into themes of doubt, mental health, and how fragile relationships are shaped by these struggles.
