As part of the Ravenna Nightmare Film Fest, Visioni Fantastiche returns with a new edition dedicated to schools and education, offering three special events designed to spark imagination, build skills, and support career orientation.
The first event, Essere Digital, will take place on Wednesday, October 23 at 10:00 AM at Teatro Rasi in Ravenna. Leading the masterclass are Monica Manganelli, director and visual artist, and Marianna Panebarco, entrepreneur and digital animator—two prominent voices in the world of animation and visual storytelling.
During the session, students will dive into the world of visual effects (VFX), exploring how this art form is created, what skills are needed, and how it connects to real job opportunities in the creative industries. The masterclass also introduces the free Digital Design and Animation course, organized by Start Cinema in collaboration with Irecoop Emilia-Romagna. Now in its third year, the course trains young talents in VFX and digital production, offering hands-on experience and professional guidance.
