After a wild night, a lifeguard is working on a deserted beach when he spots a child drowning in the waves. The lifeguard runs to save him, but as soon as he enters the sea, the child seems to disappear and reappear, each time further away from the lifeguard. Will he be able to save him?
Vladimir Scavuzzo is a young director from Milan. He studied cinema at ITSOS Albe Steiner and at Bauer School, and his career began by directing numerous music videos for independent artists. In 2021, he directed his first notable short film, "Jasmine" and in 2023, he followed up with "God’s Lamb" (L’Agnello di Dio), his debut horror short film. He worked as a 1st Assistant Director on a couple of short films and also created "Diary of a Film" (Diario di un film), a YouTube Channel where Vladimir shares his experiences on becoming a film director. Currently, Vladimir is developing his first feature film, "The Shadow That Comes from the Sea," an elevated horror film that shares themes and atmospheres with "Beyond the Sea."
